Research Background

To facilitate the timely integration of research outcomes and technologies into clinical practice, it is essential to have a digital healthcare system validated by patents and technology transfers that requires collaborative efforts between industry, academia, and research institutions.

Recently, the government has implemented a range of services to promote community-based integrated care. These, include home visit medical services, expanded home-based long-term care and caregiving, personalized housing support, and collaborative efforts between private and public sector services.

To establish a community-based integrated care model, the practical application of digital healthcare technology and policy proposals are essential.

Research Objectives and Contents

The third phase emphasizes practical research aiming at on-site application of technologies and contents as well as policy proposals based on the results of Phase 1 and Phase 2 through a collaborative approach between the parts

    Practical application of individualized health science and technology for older adults

    1. Formulation and implementation of strategies and policies for patent registration, technology transfer, and practical application of individualized interventional technologies

    2. Practical application and commercialization of health care technologies for older adults in the community

    3. Practical application and commercialization of online platforms with customized contents targeted the older adults, their families, and care providers
